Make Life More Affordable for Working Families 

Too many Ohioans are being squeezed by the rising cost of housing, groceries, and health care. Our state can do more to ease those burdens.

I will fight for policies that:

Lower Housing Costs 

• Expand the Ohio Housing Trust Fund to build and preserve affordable homes. 

• Support zoning reforms that allow more housing choices, ADUs, and infill development. 

• Level the playing field for renters by capping abusive fees and funding eviction-prevention programs. 

• Strengthen property-tax relief for seniors and middle-class families. 

• Explore a portable mortgage program, so when families move, they can keep the rate they earned.

Lower Food Costs 

• Protect Ohio’s no-tax rule on essential groceries. 

• Expand SNAP-matching programs like Produce Perks Midwest. 

• Support local food producers and fund efforts to eliminate food deserts. 

• Work toward universal free school meals for all students. 

Lower Health Care Costs 

• Protect Medicaid expansion and oppose costly, harmful work requirements. 

• Cap insulin and essential medication co-pays for state-regulated plans. 

• Ban surprise billing and hidden facility fees.
